The aesthetic education activity themed “ A picture in my heart” was held by the Art College at noon on 3rd, November, which was sponsored by the “Light of Art” Aesthetic Quality Education Center and hosted by the college “Wheat Field House” volunteer service team. More than 40 students from different colleges participated in the activity.
During the activities, Professor Shi Shengjie from the "Light of Art" Aesthetic Quality Education Center introduced the purpose and significance of aesthetic education.Then, Song Jiao, the volunteer, explained to the students the basic skills of sketching, fast composition and brushwork. Under the guidance of the volunteers, the participant students carefully composed and skillfully painted the symbol buildings of Mingxiang campus vividly. And the center had an interview with them after the painting ended.
In the process of creation, students fully integrated into the artistic atmosphere and carried out an immersive art experience. Through this aesthetic education activity, students expressed their love for the lovely campus and yearning for art and beauty with their paintings. The "Light of Art" Aesthetic Quality Education Center will continue to carry out relevant activities to enrich campus cultural life and contribute to the aesthetic education of college students.
